Obviously, we like him. =o) I think he has an absolutely gorgeous voice, and is such a truly good person. It's wonderful to have him in the spotlight like he is. I'm hoping that as his career progresses, he will make a big impact on others by showing you can be wholesome and uplifting, and still be pretty cool at the same time. It's been a while since someone like that has been out there. I was equally enamored with Brooke as an individual. So many people were drawn to her sweet nature and that "something pure" about her, as Simon mentioned. I do have to say that while I liked her voice, I wasn't quite as impressed by it as I am David's. Actually, I was surprised she made it as far as she did (please don't hit me, okay?!) considering that someone like Carly--an amazing singer--had already been voted off. But hey, look at how Jason's STILL around! Explain that, someone! I think it was great that they were both there and both were such positive examples of LDS people who live the gospel. And yeah, I do think David A. will be the next American Idol, and the first Mormon American Idol. I have a good friend who religiously watches American Idol and although I have never seen it, she keeps me up to date on "my guy." (She is going for the other Dave).
