Got Something LDS In Nature You Want Us To Blog About?

If you are LDS (Mormon) and have an LDS website, LDS Blog, LDS product, LDS idea or thought and you want to get the word out about it, then let us know and we will blog about it here - free of charge!

Why would we do this? We love everything LDS, and want to start connecting with more of the LDS community online, and learning what all is actually out there with our faith. We here at My LDS Direct feel we can all help each other out.

Just leave a comment on this post with what you want us to blog about. Remember this is an LDS Blog, and because of that the comments of what you want us to blog about need to be LDS in nature. I get lots of idiot utah search engine optimization firms trying to leave comments on this blog because they feel it will help improve their search engine rankings by getting an anchor link back to their site (wrong place - and if your going to try it - please leave a 3rd grade level comment - at least). Just because you are a Utah firm does not mean you would be a good fit on this blog. You must be LDS in nature - understand?

Sorry - didn’t mean to go off like that, but I really do want to connect with the LDS community (Utah or not), no matter what you do online. I look forward to seeing who we connect with through this. Comments are on!

Ha, being one of those Utah search engine optimization types (but not one who has ever seen or posted on this blog before) I can see why you’d get frustrated with us cause we’re always looking for links. One thing you can do to get rid of us is to implement a nofollow policy on the links from your comments. Personally I don’t do that on my blogs–I just delete spam postings or even just low quality postings, but if it becomes a headache then the easy way out is the nofollow attribute.

But here’s something of value you can post about–How about one of the LDS Church’s new websites (http://jesuschrist.lds.org/SonOfGod/eng/) being featured on the homepage of http://www.cssbeauty.com/, one of the premiere web design galleries? That means that not only do normal people think the site looks nice, but professional web designers as well. Trust me, this is high praise, especially considering that religious websites don’t usually get this kind of love from the design community.

Hopefully this is better than 3rd grade quality content :)

Utah SEO Type - I have no problem giving the juice out and letting people have followed links if they contribute. But the person leaving the utah search engine optimization (anchor text only) to their site (which I will not mention) is what is frustrating!

I will approve comments like this one all day because you are adding value to the conversation etc. I have other blogs I run too that I will give obvious keyword anchor text links if they simply just add something of value! So I appreciate what you are doing here and getting the point of this post.

I will be sure to talk about this because I happen to know that site and getting featured on it is a pretty big deal!

    Thanks,
